Video Converter allows you to convert a movie from one digital video format to another. To switch to the Video Converter mode, click "Video Converter" on the modes pane on the left of the program's window or select "Video Converter" on the popup list at the top of the program's window.

To convert a movie from one format to the other:

1.Select the source file or files.  
2.Select the format to convert the movie to.  
3.Set the applicable options.  
4.Hit "Render Video".  

Click on an item on the list to get more information on it.

Selecting source files



On this step, we are going to select the files that we need converted to some other format.

To add a source file or files to the selected list:

1.Click on the "Add Video File(s)" button.  
2.In the Open dialog box that appears, select the movie file to be added to the list and then click on the Open button to complete.  

To delete a source file from the selected list:

1.Select the file to be deleted on the list.  
2.Click on the "Delete" button.  
3.Answer "Yes" to the program's confirmation prompt.  

To move selected files up or down the list:
1.Select the file to be moved on the list.  
2.Click on the "Up" or "Down" arrow buttons by the list until the selected file will fall in the position you want.  


Selecting target format


Now we are going to select the format, which we will convert the selected file(s).

To set the target format:
1.Click on the tab with the name that corresponds with the desired target format. Then, in the Output Video Format group.  
2.Check whether you want to use a video compressor. If so, select the desired video compressor on the pop-up list and click "Settings" to further configure it.  
3.Check whether you want to use an audio compressor. If so, select the desired audio compressor on the pop-up list.  


Setting final options


To set the final options:
1.Click on the target format tab.  
2.Set the format settings as needed.  
3.Click on the "Settings" link in the Output Video Format group and set the additional options where applicable.
