Slideshow Maker will allow you to create a slideshow out of a collection of pictures and then save it to your computer hard disk in the video format.

To switch to the Slideshow Maker mode, click "Slideshow Maker" on the modes pane on the left of the program's window or select "Slideshow Maker" on the popup list at the top of the program's window.

To create a slideshow:

1.

Add photos to slideshow.

2.

Add the background sound audio files.

3.

Arrange photos on the list as needed.

4.

Get the movie.

Adding photos

To add photos to slideshow:

1.

Click on the "Add photo(s)" link

2.

Select the image files to be added to slide show in the window that appears. To select multiple files, hold the Ctrl key down and select the files to be added. The click "Open".

You can preview the photos before adding them right in the Open window. Simply click on a photo to be previewed and see its thumbnail on the pane at the right of the window. To preview a full-sized photo, click on the "Preview" button in the upper-right corner of the Open window.

You cannot preview selected files when more than one file is selected at the same time.

Adding background sound

To add background sound to slideshow:

1.

Click on the "Add audio" link

2.

Select the sound file to be added to slide show in the window that appears and then click "Open".

Note: Only one sound file per slideshow can be selected.

Arranging photos

You can arrange photos on the selected photos list by moving particular photos up or down the list or by deleting particular photos.

To move an image up or down the list:

1.

Select the image you want to move on the list of selected images.

2.

Click on the Up or Down arrow on the right to move the selected image up or down.

To delete an image from the list:

1.

Select the image you want to move on the list of selected images.

2.

Click on the "Delete" link to delete the selected image from the list.

Note: The program will not prompt you to confirm your delete action, so think twice before deleting a file from your slideshow.


Getting slideshow movie

To get your slideshow movie once you are done with the selection of images and sound files is as easy as clicking on the "Render Video" button.

Set the video file name in the Save As… window that appears and then click "Save".

You can now watch your slideshow movie by double-clicking on it in the folder where you have saved it.
